Anti-Jewish Racism on the Temple Mount

“There is basic, racist discrimination on the Temple Mount. Jews are discriminated against on the Temple Mount, period. That's the situation.” So says Michael Fuah of the Likud's Jewish Leadership faction, which recently compiled its own report on discrimination on the Temple Mount after a State Comptroller's report was censored.

The Knesset has taken an interest in the Jewish Leadership faction's report, and the Internal Affairs committee plans to discuss its findings in a special hearing on Tuesday.

The Temple Mount discrimination “deals a blow to the values on which the state of Israel was founded, as a Jewish, democratic state,” Fuah told Arutz Sheva's Hebrew-language news service. The situation has worsened in recent months, he added.

Fuah described the discrimination: “Everyone who has attempted to ascend the Temple Mount knows the reality, in which everyone with a 'Jewish look,' a beard and kippah, experiences discrimination. He is pulled aside for extra checks while everyone else passes by unimpeded.” In addition, Jews are prohibited to pray at the site.

For those who are confused, I will boil it down.

• Islam occupies Judaism's Holiest site, the Temple Mount and turned it into a mosque.  Jews are forbidden to pray there.
• Islam turned the burial place of OUR Forefathers and Mothers into a Mosque and forbade Jews from worshiping there.  One has to ask why the grave of Isaac and Jacob would be important to Arabs and Muslims as they claim descent from Ishmael, Isaac's brother.
• Islam occupies the seat of Eastern Christianity's holiest site, the Hagia Sophia, and turned it into a mosque.  Christians are forbidden to pray there.
• Jews and Christians are not allowed within 50 miles of Islam's holiest shrine, the Kaaba, because, according to their prophet "Two religions cannot exist within Arabia."  Arabia has been ethnically cleansed of Jews and Christians though they ruled there and predated the Arabs.  I suggest reading this great book:

• The exact "hadith" is:  "Yahya related to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "Two deens (religions) shall not co-exist in the Arabian Peninsula."

  Malik said that Ibn Shihab said, ''Umar ibn al-Khattab searched for information about that until he was absolutely convinced that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, had said, 'Two religions shall not co-exist in the Arabian Peninsula,' and he therefore expelled the Jews from Khaybar."

Muslims in Spain campaign to worship alongside Christians

CNN writes:

Muslims in Spain are campaigning to be allowed to worship alongside Christians in Cordoba Cathedral -- formerly the Great Mosque of Cordoba.

Today, at the original Cordoba mosque in Spain, there is no call to prayer, only the ringing of church bells. That's because the former mosque is now a working Catholic cathedral, performing a daily mass.

It's been a Cathedral since Spain's Christian monarchy conquered Cordoba in the 13th century and more than a million visitors walk through its doors every year.

Depictions of Jesus' crucifixion hang underneath the distinctive red-and-white arches of what was once the Muslim prayer hall. Cordoba's dazzling "mihrab" -- the sacred alcove from where Muslim prayer is lead -- still stands as a separate part of the site and is one of the main attractions for tourists.

In fact, the site remains significant for Muslims as a symbol of Islam's golden age of learning and religious tolerance. The Mosque of Cordoba was once famed for allowing both Christians and Muslims to pray together under the same roof.

Now, some Muslims are trying to repeat that history. Mansur Escudero, a Spanish convert to Islam, is leading the movement that is pushing for the right of Muslims to pray at the Cordoba Cathedral.

"I don't think it's important for Muslims. I think it's important for humankind," Escudero says. "We think this is a beautiful paradigm of tolerance, knowledge, culture. People of different religions living together."

Seriously?  Is this a sick joke?  There is a mosque atop our Holy Temple Mount where Jews are not allowed to mumble a prayer let alone "pray alongside" our Muslim cousins.  Remember before 1967 when Jews were forbidden to ascend higher than the seventh step at Ma'arat Ha-Machpela?  That was a beautiful paradigm of tolerance.

How about the Hagia Sophia in Istanbul?  Once the seat of Christian Orthodoxy in the East, it is now a mosque.  Lovely.

Hey, anyone remember the Church of St. John in Damascus?  Of course not!  It's now a mosque, captured by Abd al-Malik during the Muslim conquest.  Again, real tolerant.

Think the Hindus have had it any easier?  Think again.  From Wikipedia:

"The destruction of Hindu temples in India during the Islamic conquest of India had occurred from the beginning of Muslim conquest until the end the Mughal Empire throughout the Indian subcontinent.  In his book "Hindu Temples - What Happened to Them", Sita Ram Goel included a list of 2000 mosques that it is claimed were built on Hindu temples. The second volume of the book excerpts from medieval histories and chronicles and from inscriptions concerning the destruction of Hindu, Jain and Buddhist temples. The authors claim that the material presented in this book are only the tip of an iceberg."

And now, of course, Muslims are pursuing the most tasteless of conquests: building a mosque near Ground Zero where the blood of three thousand kedoshim was spilled in the name of Islam.

When are people going to wake up?  So-called "tolerance" is just another excuse for more conquest.  I am willing to make a deal right now.  Give us full access to Har Ha-Bayit (we'll take the big domed building, you can keep al-Aqsa), let the Christians return to the Hagia Sophia and St. John's, give up your lust for lower Manhattan and then we can talk about praying together.

Hamas on Tuesday banned open-air prayers organised by the rival Fatah faction in the Gaza Strip, gatherings that have turned into weekly protests against the territory's Islamist rulers. Backed by a ruling by the pro-Hamas Palestine Clerics Federation, Hamas's Gaza-based government said it had "decided to prevent any gatherings under the pretext of Friday (Muslim) prayers". Over the past several weeks, Friday prayers organised by Fatah, headed by Western-backed President Mahmoud Abbas, have led to clashes with Hamas security forces.In a statement, the Hamas administration said Fatah had used outdoor worship on the Muslim rest day to sow "chaos and sedition" in the Gaza Strip. The clerics federation, in a religious edict, said the violence at the gatherings violated the sanctity of Friday worship. Fatah officials said the faction planned to go ahead with open-air prayers this Friday despite the ban. "No one has the right to intervene in people's worship," said Hazen Abu Shanab, a Fatah official in Gaza. Hamas took control of the Gaza Strip in fighting against Fatah in June. The Islamist group is shunned by the West for refusing to recognise Israel, renounce violence and accept existing interim Israeli-Palestinian peace deals.
