It is in this upcoming week's Torah portion that Hashem commands Moses to build the Mishkan, the temporary dwelling that would be replaced by the Temple once the Israelites settled the land:
וְעָשׂוּ לִי, מִקְדָּשׁ; וְשָׁכַנְתִּי, בְּתוֹכָם
"And let them make Me a sanctuary, that I may dwell among them"
